Rooster Raptor is a visual representation of the gradual evolution from Dromaeosaur dinosaur to the modern chicken. It has the colors and iconic waddles of a chicken, but the snout and clawed feet of a velociraptor.

The form started as a clay sculpture with a skeleton of foam and chicken wire. This clay is covered in plaster to create a mold. From the plaster mold, the final form is cast in bondo. The two halves of the form are attached and blended together with super sculpey, and finally painted.
